These are quality frames that are machined out of high density sheets of acetate. Although these frames resemble (look like) injection molded plastic frames but are more durable (tougher) than relatively inexpensive plastic frames. These are as sturdy as metal frames but are comfortable in touch like cheaper plastic frames. They weigh a little bit more than typical plastic frames.
