This frame is made from a sheet that has two layers of maroon. The regular maroon layer is towards inside.

These are quality frames machined out of high density sheets of acetate. These looks similar to cheaper molded plastic frames, but are tougher than injection molded plastic frames. These are durable like metal frames but comfortable in touch like cheaper plastic frames. They are relatively (little) heavier than ordinary plastic frames.
